Athol Plaza

Athol Plaza, Oakland. Two hard courts with lights right on Lake Merritt's shore, and you'll often find them empty during afternoon hours. The lakeside views are genuinely beautiful, but expect inconsistent court surfaces and the urban reality of inner Oakland, it's free and playable, just not always pristine.
