Tenney Park. Three hard courts with free lights on Madison's scenic near East side, set in the middle of a lagoon that makes for a storybook setting but means mosquitoes can be thick in summer. Courts stay in good shape and rarely fill up, so you can usually walk on and play without a reservation, though MSCR lets you book ahead if you want to be sure.
