Sand Mountain Park Tennis Center hosts the 4th Annual SMPA Jr Hard Court Championships over the first weekend of June, drawing junior players from grades 7 through 12 across three divisions on outdoor hard courts. Sign up for one, two, or all three events (singles, doubles, mixed doubles), and the format uses qualifying rounds for newer players while seeding higher-ranked competitors directly into main draw matchups. Entry runs $30–$65 depending on division and event selection, and while this tournament has deep roots in Marshall County, players from anywhere are welcome to compete.
