Twenty-nine draws at Palisades Tennis Club in Newport Beach, where hard courts overlook the California coast and the competition runs serious through mid-September. Singles and doubles across age groups from 45+ through 80+, $100 per event, drawing the kind of players who've been competing at this level for years. This is the tournament to test yourself against people who know how to construct points.
