BATTLE OF SANTA BARBARA — THE WEST COAST'S PREMIER UTR BATTLEGROUND 🌴
Whether you're chasing a higher UTR or simply the best level-based competition on the Central Coast, there's one place to be this weekend — the Battle of Santa Barbara. Held at Westmont College on 8 hard courts, BoSB brings together players of every age and every UTR level for real matches that count. Come test yourself, get verified results, and join the movement.
OPEN TO ALL AGES AND ALL UTR LEVELS.
Players are split into flights by UTR (A, B, C, D...) so you're always matched against players at your level.
Every player is GUARENTEED AT LEAST 2 matches.
EVENT DATES: July 25–26
Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
💵 ENTRY FEE: $50 per player.
🏆 PRIZE MONEY
Prize money is awarded in the top flight (Draw A) of each division when more than 16 players are entered:
Men's Singles (16+ players): Winner $175 · Finalist $75
Women's Singles (16+ players): Winner $175 · Finalist $75
All prize money is for the round reached and played, and is paid on-site. If a division has 16 or fewer players, no prize money is awarded for that division.
🎾 FORMAT
Flights of up to 16 players by UTR level, each with a consolation back-draw so everyone plays at least twice.
Main draw: Best of 3 sets, 3rd-set match tiebreak to 10, ad scoring.
NEW BALLS EACH SET — DRAW A ONLY. All other flights play with fresh balls provided at the start of each match.

Draws are posted Friday evening; match times go up with the draws.
Players are accepted and flighted by UTR rating.
