USTA Hawaii Family Fun Doubles Tournament. A rare chance to play doubles alongside your 12- or 14-year-old at the Iwase Tennis Complex in Waipahu, trading coaching from the sideline for actual court time together. Two coed parent-child draws on hard courts over the first weekend of May, $22 per team, with the kind of low-pressure format that keeps the focus on competing as a unit rather than climbing a ladder.
