McDrew Doubles Tournament. A straight doubles-only event at Washington Park Velasco in Springfield over mid-August, hosted by Central Illinois Tennis Association. One coed draw means you're paired with your partner and playing against the whole field on hard courts, no singles distractions. August is when most summer tournaments wrap, making this a good three-day push before the fall season shifts gears.
