The Putnam Cup debuts August 7-9 at Cheverus High School in Portland, hosting seven divisions across six varsity courts. Whether you're entering the open singles draw or pairing up for doubles, you'll find your bracket: the teen divisions run separately from the open categories, so matches stay competitive and fairly distributed. Entry ranges from $25 to $53, and Ben Putnam, the school's head coach, has designed the weekend to give everyone multiple matches over three days. Come for the first-time energy and Maine summer tennis in the middle of August.
