Saturday afternoons at Matrix Tennis Academy in Grosse Pointe Woods turn into doubles lab work: you and a partner face rotating opponents on hard courts, building patterns and court sense that singles alone won't teach. Ken Prather runs this series weekly through summer at the same time and place, so you can show up regularly, dial in your net game, and actually see doubles click over a few sessions. High school players from 1.0 to 16.0 compete in separate divisions, and parents can jump in with their kids in the parent-child draw. 4–7pm, $30–$55.
