Fisherman's Picnic Tennis Tournament '26. Fifteen draws across singles and doubles on hard courts in Grand Marais, right on Lake Superior's shore, a chance to compete in one of Minnesota's most remote and beautiful spots. The event runs through the first weekend of August when the North Shore is at its best, and at $25 per draw, you're getting a lot of tennis without the summer heat that plagues tournaments downstate. Expect a tight-knit field of regional players who know these courts well, plus whoever else makes the drive up for a long weekend on the water.
