Round Robin Format
Here is how UTR Dingles works. To start, two players on the same team feed in cross-court rallies and play out half-court points. When a cross-court singles point ends, the winning team calls out, “Dingles!” The ball that is still in play immediately evolves into a normal full-court doubles point. A team must win both balls to score a point. Game scoring is flexible and can be played first to 5, 7, 11, or even 21 points.
“You can play it at literally all levels,” said former world No. 2 Tommy Haas. “It’s a great equalizer. You can imagine, when you take the serve out, how many good rallies and points you’re going to have with UTR Dingles.”
